402 monthly CSV files are unchanged publisher Download Data exports: Screen
Resolution, Desktop, Worldwide or India, January 2010–September 2026, 201 months
per region. downloads.json supplies exact URLs/controls, UTC retrieval dates,
row counts and SHA-256. September is provisional; these are as-downloaded values.
Comparison exports/receipts retain Desktop vs All Platforms qualification.
Those period aggregates contribute no atlas numbers.

The Desktop exports contain phone-sized and odd viewports. Observed rows,
including Other, remain intact. Other is included in both tidy exports and
the page, but is never allocated to named resolutions. HD Wallpaper PC's
derived view retains width>=1024 and 1.25<=width/height<=3.6; each retained
named share is divided by its region/month's qualifying named sum, times 100.
Other and excluded named rows are outside that denominator. It is a declared
geometry filter, not a publisher figure, device classifier or market estimate.
Phone-width<=500 sums diagnose the Aug–Sep 2026 break; its cause is UNKNOWN.

Changes under CC BY-SA 3.0: tidy monthly rows, all 201 monthly chart positions,
declared classifications/re-based shares, leader-month counts, diagnostic
phone-row sums and centered Fit/Fill geometry. Missing shares stay UNKNOWN.
Both tidy CSVs carry credit, source link, licence, changes and retrieval dates
per row. They sit two directories above, in /data/. The raw CSVs retain their
publisher bytes with this accompanying attribution. Prose/design are excluded
from the data licence. Preserve credit, links, dates, changes and licence on reuse.

Recompute offline: python scripts/build_screen_atlas.py from the site repo.
See /wallpaper-fit/#screen-fit-atlas for every named classification, scope,
limitations, exact values, corrections and citation. Source dates/hashes survive.

Both 1366x768 and 1920x1080 are charted in observed and derived views.
Yearly tables show December snapshots; 2026 uses September, not an annual mean.
The width floor stays 1024: genuine small early desktop sizes such as 800x600
are excluded too. The page quantifies January 2010 shares and minimum monthly
denominator coverage. Monthly tables are closed by default, reachable without
JavaScript; the print summary points to the CSV for monthly detail.
