Image credits, licence and takedown

Every wallpaper is an original made for HD Wallpaper PC. Its preview shows a credit and personal-use licence line beneath the thumbnail and again beside the larger picture.

Wallpaper subjects and sizes

Our photo-style scenes and anime-style scenery are model-generated and enlarged for 4K, while our code-drawn designs are rendered separately at each download size.

Choose landscapes, close-ups, still lifes and imaginary scenery, or compare plain colours, gradients and geometric patterns. Some scenes include anonymous fictional figures or hands. The credit line reads “Original by HDWallpaperPC, free for personal use”.

Personal-use licence

You may download a wallpaper and use it as the background on your own computer, laptop, tablet or phone.

This personal-use licence limits use to your own device backgrounds. Selling the files, adding them to an app or wallpaper pack, uploading them to another image site, or using them in advertising or products for sale falls outside these terms.

Resolution labels

A label such as 1920x1080 or 3840x2160 gives the actual pixel dimensions of the download. An enlarged 4K file has an “upscaled” label beside its download button.

Image concerns and takedown

Use the contact form if you believe a picture uses your work, likeness or trademark. Include the page address, picture title and a short explanation.

We take the image down while we look into the concern, then tell you what we found.
