Image credits, licence and takedown
Every wallpaper on HD Wallpaper PC is made for this site. None is copied from another wallpaper site, a stock library, a film, a game or a show. Each image shows its own credit and licence line under its thumbnail and again in the preview window.
Where the wallpapers come from
Every wallpaper here is an original made for this site: photo-style scenes (landscapes, close-ups, still life), our own anime-style scenery, and plain colours, gradients and geometric patterns. Each one shows an “Original by HDWallpaperPC, free for personal use” line under its thumbnail.
Every image is checked before it goes live, and anything with people, text, logos, watermarks, religious figures or a look copied from a known series is rejected.
We do not use Unsplash, Pexels or other stock photos. Their licences do not let us share them as wallpapers. The anime-style wallpapers are original scenery only. They are not art from any show, and they show no characters.
What you may do with a wallpaper
- You may download any wallpaper and use it as the background on your own computer, laptop, tablet or phone.
- You may not sell a wallpaper or put it in an app or a wallpaper pack. You may not upload it to another wallpaper or stock site.
- You may not use a wallpaper in advertising or on products for sale.
The credit line “free for personal use” under each image means exactly the first point above. Nothing on this site grants a commercial licence.
Resolution labels
A size label such as 1920x1080 or 3840x2160 matches the real pixel size of the file you download. Where a 4K file is enlarged from the original, its 3840x2160 button says “upscaled”.
Takedown requests
Think an image here uses your work, your face or your trademark? Tell us through the contact form. Please include the page address, the image title shown under the thumbnail, and a short note on why it should come down.
We take the image down while we look into it. Then we tell you what we found. We also review the whole collection every quarter.
